How does my service work?
My service is very easy to use. Simply e-mail me a document (or some documents) that you want me to translate. I will then respond with the following two pieces of information:

-
A price estimate
-
A time estimate

The price estimate will be, how much it will cost to translate the document. The time estimate will be, how much time it will take for me to finish after I have received your payment.

My estimates will always be free.

You can then negotiate the above two items. Negotiating (sometimes called haggling) is a very traditional Chinese way of doing business.

Send your documents to:
lidaiping at yahoo.com

Please include your contact information in the e-mail. If you do not hear from me within 24 hours, you can assume that:

1. I do not have time to look at your document, or
2. I have decided not to translate it.

Any document which I do not decide to work on, will be deleted.
How can I pay you?
Currently I accept payment through

-
bitcoin: 1DtnYtoku4xr4tgm4Zem1MHC5XP7ssm5Vu
-
paypal: lidaiping@yahoo.com

After making a payment, please send me an e-mail stating that a payment has been made along with your contact information. Otherwise, I won't know what the payment is for.
What is your hourly, per word, rate?
There are various factors which effect my rate including (but not limited to):

-
Is the document a children's book (easy), or a scientific article (difficult)? A document where I have to look up various words is obviously going to take more time.
-
Is the document you sent a PDF file where I can not simply copy and paste the text (assuming I need to use the original text)?
-
What is the current exchange rate between the US dollar and the Chinese RMB?

Consequently, any estimate I give, may or may not accurately reflect my hourly or per word rate. However, if you must have a ballpark figure, you can use the following:

Rate per word: $0.07
Rate per hour: $20

This rate applies to both English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation services.
